"rn" works fine from my workstation running 7.0 and works fine from
the "old" dialup machines. I get the following error when running it
on the "7.0" dialup machine. I'll try attaching the SIPB locker but I
thought we could use AFS now.

I'm not sure rn is supported but I got:

If you run it off of Athena system packs, then it is supported by
Project Athena. If you don't, it isn't.

Rn is in the sipb locker. Therefore, it is not supported by Athena.
However, in a case where you arne't sure whether or not we support
something, it's better to err on the side of caution and to report it
to us, and we'll forward it as appropriate, so thanks for reporting it
(and please report any rrn bugs in the future to bug-sipb :-).

   I'm using:

This is your problem. You don't have the SIPB locker attached. There
are various programs that won't work if you don't have the sipb locker
attached. Rrn is one of them.
