this happens 90% reliably, but only on drgonzo.

cd /source/bsd-4.3/rt/lib/libc/ca/gen
/usr/bin/find . -type f -print -exec grep Inappropriate {} \;
the find triggers a "panic: getdcache", but not always when processing the
same file. this implies that the bug is probably timing-dependent.
I've tried varying this incantation, but the only thing that you can take
out is the -print option, which is useful when you're watching the bug happen.
