SYNOPSIS:
String to bitmap/pixmap conversion in the Athena widgets should
take advantage of XFILESEARCHPATH. It doesn't.
DESCRIPTION:
All of the widgets in the Athena Widget set which use a string to
bitmap converter use the function XmuConvertStringToBitmap. This
function doesn't appear to use XFILESEARCHPATH at all.
Either XmuConvertStringToBitmap should be updated to look in
XFILESEARCHPATH properly, or the Athena Widget set should be
modified to use a converter that uses XtResolvePathname.
REPEAT BY:
Try to use a bitmap that is in your XFILESEARCHPATH (for example,
bitmap name "/foo/bar/baz", where "/foo/bar/%N" is in your
XFILESEARCHPATH) but not in your bitmapFilePath.

P.S. It's pretty disappointing to see neat features like
XFILESEARCHPATH in the R4 Intrinsics, and then to realize that
much of the widget set doesn't even bother to use them. Sigh.
