type: pvax
running:	7.0C

I was trying to dial into tabetha from my morrow terminal (the termcap
is in /mit/lnp/morrow) using the x8-7000 number. I got ZITI-PAD and
typed "tabetha" to remotely log into tabetha.

Here's the problem: for some reason, tabetha thinks she's already
activated and has the packs attached. Because she thinks this, she
starts up the stuff in my .startup.tty file (this file sets TERM,
TERMCAP, unsubscribes me from some zephyr instances, etc.).
Unfortunately, since the packs are not attached, she can't find many
of the commands (like zctl). I have to reattach the packs by using
/etc/athena/activate and rehashing. Then I have to go through all my
startup stuff again. I am wondering if this is some sort of 7.0 bug.
It seems that the packs are not properly unmounted when she
deactivates (sorry if my terminology is a little messed up)

Usually when I dial into tabetha and noone is logged in on her, I get
the message "no C shell initialization". Then I just source my
.morrow_login file and the machine is activated, and several dot files
are sourced.

By the way, if you want to see exactly what I do when I log into
tabetha, all the dot files mentioned in this message are world
readable.
