I've been having problems with afs and saber lately, and it seems the
two just don't mix... Just take a look at the following olc log...

Question:
I been having trouble with saber lately, and I don't know whether it is
because I was recently moved to AFS or saber is just buggy. I haven't
had any problems before the last few day, but now I can't read in any of
the files on my athena AFS cell. Saber works fine with my sipb cell ,
it also works if I try to read in a file through a symlink in my athena
afs cell... Anyway, anytime I try to read in a file from my athena afs
cell, I get the error message "cannot open
/afs/athena/user/d/dougie/foo.c" My acl's are set correctly and I can
read the files, but saber won't. However, if I copy the files to /tmp
saber loads the files in happily...
So the question is this a saber problem, or an afs problem? How should
it be fixed...

Oh, I've done that several times... I've even bothered to kinit and aklog
to get fresh afs tickets... I know I have tokens, cause I can view the files
and even move them... Saber just won't read them...
