What were you trying to do?
Minding my own business.
What's wrong:
xlogin appeared to be in an infinite loops, taking up over 95% of the
CPU time while 60K (of 700-somethingK) was resident. I had not
resized the console window or done anything I don't normally do to it,
which is run my "hide_console" program which sends an Unmap request
for that window.
What should have happened:
xlogin should have been dumped long ago.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
There's a coredump in ~bjaspan/world/core.xlogin.rt. Please let me
know when it has been looked at/copied elsewhere so I can reclaim the
obscene amount of space it requires.
Disclaimer:
It's late and I've been building a set all day. Pardon the sarcasm.
