Question:
Hi,
Actually, this is not a question. I just want to signal some problems we
have in room 66-070. I don't know if it's a hardware or a software
problem. We have IBM RT terminals. Quite often, c programs have
segmentation-violation errors at run-time (not detected by saber). These
errors are not due to the program: a compilation on a different machine, a
vax, for instance, gives no problem. Also, if we reboot the machine and
recompile the program, it works fine again.
That's strange, and for sure annoying.
I don't know what you can do about it. I just wanted to signal it.
