WHAT'S WRONG
Meta-I insertion pops up a dialog window that is (apparently) a
child of the top level xmh window, not of the window in which
you wish to insert the named file. In consequence, under mwm
at least, there is a flurry of gratuitious restacking of the
window hierarchy - i.e. pressing meta-I raises the parent
window and lowers the window in which the meta-I was pressed.
The windows are subsequently restacked when the insertion
request is confirmed.
