In 3.0alpha, the files that you needed to create needed to be placed in
/usr/afs/cores. In the current 3.0beta, you need to place files in
/vice/file.
Personally, I think that the files should still be located under
/usr/afs (either in local/ or in logs/) since that is where all the
other server related dumps, binaries, and data are stored.
