Subject: NIC.DDN.MIL address
Date: Wed, 21 Mar 90 09:06:14 EST
From: trinkle@cs.purdue.edu
According to the HOSTS.TXT from the NIC and the nameserver on
NIC.DDN.MIL, there is no longer a 10.0.0.51 address.
The root servers on both gunter-adam.af.mil and terp.umd.edu are
still advertising it. The other root servers have removed it (I
cannot get an answer from aos.brl.mil right now).
Others should also remove the 10 addresses from their named.ca
files as well, now that the ARPANET is gone.
Note to root@cmd3b2.af.mil:
The origin value in the SOA for af.mil. is incorrect, you need a
"." terminating it.
ANSWERS:
-> af.mil origin = cmd3b2.af.mil.af.mil
mail addr = root.cmd3b2.af.mil
serial=10006, refresh=3600, retry=300, expire=3600000, min=3600
