This is, I think, a terrible error message. I understand the locking
problem, but the error is difficult to interpret.
1) did nobody in the list get the mail?
2) did everybody except bigz get the mail?
3) did everybody up to, but not after, bigz get the mail?
In any case, I think the error message is terrible, and should say,
"Mail not delivered to foo@ATHENA-PO-1.LOCAL, bar@ATHENA-PO-1.LOCAL".
Then, I could just resend to the people who lost.
If either 1 or 3 above is the case (and I think 3 is) then there is
another bug. sendmail should attempt the rest of the people on the
list, even though one of the addresses in the middle failed.
