What were you trying to do?
Use whatsup.
What's wrong:
No one is using this program. No one at all. It is located at
/usr/athena and I doubt anything has been posted there in months (if not
years). This is fine, but why do we have it (and several man pages for
it) if no one uses it. I checked for anything in March, and there was
nothing. Sort of pathetic -- it seems this is a likely candidate for
removal at some point. Maybe we should encourage people to use this?
(Though I think sticking with a standard like discuss seems much
wiser--athena-msgs).
What should have happened:
An entry or two possibly.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
the man pages on whatsup, bulkpost, postit.
