What were you trying to do?
Use emacs.
I'm on a DECstation 3100 dialed into athena. I use
setenv DISPLAY {my.machine}:0
in order to take advantage of the windows etc. I think this machine is
running dxwm.
What's wrong:
The emacs window pops up, but I can't activate it. I can manipulate it
- i.e. move it and resize it - but I can't get into it.
What should have happened:
I have no problem with matlab or Tetris or various other programs, but I
just can't use emacs.
