acucntrl does not work on the RT. (This is a known problem).
I have just brought over the ACIS, Dec. 88, version, and verified that
all the changes in it won't break the VAX (by inspection). There were a
couple questionable ones, where it looked like the VAX side was correct
and the RT side was wrong... these have been fixed (everything is
RCS'd). There was one fix (by inspection) that the RT side made that
the VAX side had wrong. All other changes are entirely surrounded by
#ifdef's and should have no effect on other the other type.
Source is in "release.dev" as usual.
(This one should be easy enough for anyone to verify as it does not
actually involve modem sequences and is just a verification of the
integration. I can vouch that it works on an RT).
