Bugs or Bill,
I think I'll need to speak with someone in person about all the
problems I have had working today. A few examples:
1. While using EZ my workstation crashed 4 times (w/in a 1/2 hour)
2. One of the times, noted above, I was using "comp", not working in
an EZ window, although they were open
3. I chose an item off of the pull down menu, and EZ did what I
selected, but the pull-down would not go away. If I
pulled-down another it would freexe up too, until I chose quit
4. If I was working in two or more EZ windows at once, my w/s would
crash when I tried to do some task, such as "switch file"
5. I mean "crash" to be when my screen goes black and then I get
the "Hit any key to start" screen. This must be the newest
automatic logoff function!
6. My spelling checker worked in the beginning of my session today,
but now I get the same error message stating "Could not
start ispell. Spell checking may not be supported at this
site."I received this message a lot last Friday.
7. In some windows I could not get the expanded pull-down that would
do formating. I had to do a file insert into another file
for this function to be available again.
8. While using pick in XMH my process died and gave me the following
errors "X Toolkit Error: Cannot perform malloc" Now I can't
open XMH at all
9. I couldn't send these problems, and others that have occured to
"sendbug" because I received an X Toolkit error.
I'm not sure if these problems are related to EZ, my hardware, or the current
release, but they're intolerable. Can anyone get back to me on this?
