I am not convinced about Ron's statement. We have the same header
macros in our sendmail.cf as the ones on ATHENA.MIT.EDU. More
information is required as to what is doing the munging; I am beginning
to suspect it depends on where it is placed in the header originally by
the client mailer; if it is the first line, I am thinking that the
sendmail programs may be munging it. Various tests show it to be munged
by the time it is delivered, but for local mailers, no problems are
revealed (it may be a bug in Ron's mailer as opposed to ours).
