hi!
i'm just writing in the hope that, before we'll need to start
paying to print, a full-fledged viewer will be available.
unfortunately, i had formatted my resume as a freshman using
scribe (ick). so instead of transferring it to another more
useful formatting language, i stuck with my older format. but,
alas, viewdoc can't handle the scribe resume style! here are
the errors:
X Toolkit Warning: Couldn't find /Times-Bold 16. Using default.
X Toolkit Warning: Couldn't find /Times-Roman 11. Using default.
X Toolkit Warning: Couldn't find /Times-Bold 11. Using default.
X Toolkit Warning: Couldn't find /Times-Bold 9. Using default.
that is, none of the bold print showed up as bold, and the medium-
sized bold showed up as italic. weird.
so, not only should scribe be thrown away as an historical mistake,
but viewdoc should be remedied. otherwise paying to print might
be a little unfair.
