a) it is not safe to presume that jik will always be the one who
answers your bug report (in fact, any staff who are working on the qa
function may answer bug reports ... jik is doing it now for a variety
of reasons, but that doesn't mean he'll do it forever),
b) it is safe to presume that information sent to bugs is *business*
and that keeping reports topical and to the point will be appreciated
(particularly as the volume of information received via
bugs@ATHENA.MIT.EDU is non-trivial) more often than humor which might
depend on context (which anyone who has used this medium knows doesn't
carry so well ...)
c) if you are unable to remember what we need in a bug report, then
you should use "sendbug" ...
this is all constructive information. i trust you will do the right
thing with it.
