As the documentation for the X library and the X toolkit intrinsics
library clearly indicate, exiting on error is only the *default*
behavior, as part of the *default* error handlers. Furthermore, the
documentation clearly indicates how to change that behavior.
Therefore, what you are reported is not a bug.
Furthermore, you have not provided any specific information with which
I might be able to better answer your report. For example, are you
talking about the IO error handler or the X error handler? Are you
talking about a raw Xlib error handler or the intrinsics error
handler. If you don't know how to report a bug properly, I suggest
you try using the sendbug program to do so.
In any case, as I have already stated, the "bug" you have reported is
not a bug. It will not be entered in our bugs database, because there
is nothing to fix.

I didn't have to respond to your bug report at all, other than to say,
"That's not a bug." Perhaps if you continue to be condescending in
bug reports, that's how I'll respond to your bug reports from now on.
If you were "only joking", then I'm not amused. We get too many bug
reports to be in the mood to be amused by stuff like this, when the
bug report in which it is included isn't nearly complete, and doesn't
even really report a bug.
