   Subject: scribe expired

on host e40-008-12 at 11:30am today:

   Scribe 6(1600) Copyright (C) 1981, 1987 Scribe Systems
Welcome to Athena Scribe Version 6.
   *papers/nature.mss
   [Processing papers/nature.mss
*Unrecoverable problem; cannot continue this Scribe run*

Error found while processing information from the site file:
This version of SCRIBE has expired.

Please note that "bug-scribe" is *not* the place to send bug reports.
The "bug-scribe" list is intended for internal Athena use only, as are
most "bug-*" lists (except for a few notable exceptions, such as
bug-sipb and bug-games).

That particular list happens to forward directly to Scribe Systems,
without anyone at Athena verifying that the problem isn't specific to
MIT's installed copy -- which this is. I just got a call from someone
at Scribe Systems who was quite confused as to what was going on.

Please send any future bug reports concerning scribe to "bugs". (I
will forward this one.) Thank you.
