From: Tom Palka <tompalka@ATHENA.MIT.EDU>
System name: copilot
Type and version:	CVAXSTAR 6.4R
Display type: SM

What were you trying to do?
Use msgchk to check the maildrops at another host - eagle.mit.edu.
The command I used was the following:

> msgchk -host eagle.mit.edu -user mefl -norpop
msgchk: -ERR Wrong username supplied (tompalka vs. mefl)

What's wrong:
The command returns a message about invalid usernames, namely that
tompalka does not match mefl, and thus it cannot tell whether I have
mail waiting for me.

What should have happened:
Since I am using the -norpop flag, it should prompt me for a password,
which it didn't. As a matter of fact, it didn't even want to check
the maildrop on eagle.mit.edu at all.

Please describe any relevant documentation references:
the only source I used was the man page for msgchk.
