This is a suspected bug given that I had problems with my new code... it
has not been tested against the 6.4R mkserv, but it probably exists:
Since /urvd/root/usr/athena/lib/init is a symlink back to
/srvd/site/usr/athena/lib/init, the synctree will make
/site/server/usr/athena/lib/init also a symlink to the /srvd. This
makes remote logins with standard dotfiles useless. Normally, you could
have the attach of the system packs in the .environment file, but only
if this directory is local.
This has been fixed (kludged) in my latest stuff (and all my latest
things will be appearing in fixes later today). [Another fix is
possible for the next release which I will discuss at today's release
meeting].
