(On a side note: They seem to be going through versions of hc2 quickly.
hc2.1w would not compile their kernels because of a problem and there is
apparently a known problem with hc2.1y which they will look at when they
get back next week.)
On a further-to-the-side note: Dare we try removing some of the hacks
we've put into ours to accommodate one or another version of this
compiler?
