What were you trying to do?
Display a Scribe-generates .PS file with xps.
What's wrong:
On the second page, I have a figure which I included with the
@picture(postscript=fig1x.ps) command. After that page, xps displayed the
third page and so on -- the rest of the document -- superimposed on the
already-drawn screen, without my pressing return for it to go on and without
clearing its window between pages. That is, it seems to have ignored all
further "showpage" commands in the PostScript file.
What should have happened:
It should have finished drawing the page, beeped and waited for me
to press return, cleared the page and then drawn the next one. (That's what
it did for the first page, and when I added a title page so that the figure
was on the third page of the document, the first two pages were cleared
correctly.)
