THIS MAY BE A PROBLEM WITH THE 6.4 RELEASE
There seems to be a problem with printing equations from troff, which Bill
Cattey has told me resulted from two incompatible versions of dtroff in
the 6.4 Release. I noticed this when I was trying to print an eq inset
from EZ, and am also concerned with people trying to print general documents
set in troff. I know that we don't support troff, but just yesterday I
assured a faculty member that he could receive a colleague's manuscript
and then edit and reprint it using our Athena facilities. The problem is
with how vertical spacing is handled.

Fixed on the testers packs and AFS packs... the changes have been handed
off to Operations to be placed on the staff packs.
