What were you trying to do?
My .startup.X file calls up xload in this manner:
xload -geometry +710+67 &
What's wrong:
The machine tells me:
/usr/bin/X/xload: Permission denied.
What should have happened:
The program should have simply worked.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
N/A, except a note that in my .Xresources file, I made sure that xload was one
of the programs I use which has no Motif border decorations (i.e., no
titlebars, no resizing borders). I did this for xclock, xquota, and
xscreensaver as well, and those seem to work just fine.
