The mail notifications sent by "lpr -m" are getting sent to (or at
least directed at) the workstation that submitted the job, rather than
the mailhub.

I would consider this to be a bug not in lpr but in the mail system.
It would seem likely that sendmail wouldn't grok MX records and WKS
queries (a la RFC 974 or whatever obsoletes), but I think that would
be the right solution.
We also might want someone to catch the mail to daemon that
occasionally comes by...
