There are two fixes to the asynch driver in comp.sys.ibm.pc.rt, which I
suggest we incorporate into our kernel sources.

  John

They will be incorporated if we have time. Since we are not running all
of the latest code, it will take some work to see whether these patches
apply. I had intentionally not taken the December asynch driver because
of it lesser stability than the September version.

There are other patches from the newsgroup that I am going to apply
first, such as the dbx patches.

As you can no doubt guess, I have been following the newsgroup to see
what may apply to our kernel (and I have a file containing all the
patches that have been sent out to-date, or at least to within the past
3 days).
