I have *three* core files from mwm processes that were running in
busy-wait after I logged out (one had used 999 minutes of cpu time.)
It would appear this only happens on STEVE-DALLAS (which is of course
impossible.)
The core files are in ~bjaspan/world. Stack traces are not revealing.
dbx says

and gdb says:

#0 0x2f980 in .XmCreatePushButtonGadget (0, 0, 0, 0)
adb just gets very confused.
If anyone wants the core files, let me know when you've taken them.
