Hello.
Due to the amount of confusion that people (like me)
experience in trying to make simple requests, I'm trying to compile a
"Who's Who in Questions" list. This list will contain commonly asked
questions (both common user and Joe Random User questions) and who to
send e-mail to.
Since I am rather new around here, and I'm rather ignorant of
who does what, I would like some information.... This is what I'm
looking for:
What type of questions/requests does your section handle??
What information is needed in requests?? (i.e. what do you
need to know to handle the average question)
Any additional comments about what your section does...
I am doing this for a couple of reasons... (1) I want to learn
what gets asked where so I don't bother people unnecessarily, (2) It
will help *you* to get the information *you* need so that you can get
things done with minimal confustion, and (3) It will help to improve
communication lines around athena.
If there are any other places that I should include in this
list (netreq, hesreq, hotline, accounts, bugs), please let me know.
