It sounds like your configuration has gone awry.
1) This is really suited for OLC - Yes you are a consultant
2) I see you have modified your .aliases and .startup.X and .environment
yesterday. I would see if you can find which is broken. (possibly move
one out of the way at a time until you can login)
3) I cannot help you as the files are not world readable. Think. You are
a consultant, what would you need to answer a question from a user in
this situation.
4) This does not sound like a hotline sdituation nor a bug as you have
made your own modifications that then caused yourself to be screwed.
