SYSTEM: 6.3B AFS packs
uVaxII (probably platform/hardware specific)
PROBLEM: starting /etc/afsd before the network panics the kernal
causing a crash dump.
WHAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED:
it should have failed, but not taken the machine down
with it.
REPEAT BY:
boot single-user, and fsck root and site. mount site. start afsd.
you lose.
