because they're not necessary. the deal is that the servers for
MIT.EDU provide this information as it is necessary. it is likely
that one of *their* (LCS') nameservers has gone out to lunch. if this
is the case, having their nameservers hard-wired in our /etc/named.ca
does no good, since the only thing we gain is the knowledge of the
service location of the non-operative server.
at any rate, this is not a bug.
