From: John T Kohl <jtkohl@ATHENA.MIT.EDU>
To: bugs@ATHENA.MIT.EDU
System type, version: (RTPC) Version 6.3B
System name: snorkelwacker
What's wrong:
I got this erroneous error message:
[{1}snorkelwacker:/]
% attach sipbsrc
sipbsrc: Couldn't attach; symlink from /u1 to /mit/sipbsrc already exists.
Exit 21 attach sipbsrc
[{1}snorkelwacker:/]
% ls -l /mit/sipbsrc
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root 3 Sep 15 1988 /mit/sipbsrc -> /u1
[{1}snorkelwacker:/]
%
What should have happened:
The error message is telling me the link is in the opposite direction of
its true pointing. It should swap /u1 and /mit/sipbsrc in the message
above.
