Steve,
sorry this reply is coming a little late, you mailed your bug report
to "bug@athena" which happens to be the uid of an actual student. she
forwarded it to us but it took a little while.... for future
refference, send bug reports to "bugs@athena", we plan to make "bug" a
reserved name pointing to "bugs" as soon as she leaves :)
Okey-doke, thanks. That reminds me of the guy who got a California
license plate called "NO PLATE". It seems the vanity plates
application form gives you three choices, and he decided to put "NO
PLATE" for the third choice, meaning he'd rather have nothing if his
first 2 choices were taken.
Anyways, he got it, he thought it was a cute hack, and drove around
with it. Within a couple of days, he got pulled over by a cop who
treated him like Charlie Manson on speed. He was wanted for every
crime committed by a car with No Plate - the (not so) reserved token
in the DMV database.
I wonder if they teach that in 6.033 these days? :)
