In case it hasn't been officially complained about:
AFS should do some of its own end-to-end checksums, instead of relying
on the transport code to notice all errors. I have once again had
pieces of my rmail file turned into trash without any warning
whatsoever. Again, this happened during a time when some flakiness
(albeit apparently minor this time) was going on with the network.
