In the last two days, my workstation has just up and died in the
middle of various jobs. Once I was reading the usenet, once I was
composing mail in emacs, and once I was compiling something with gcc.
In all three cases, I got a message overwritten on my screen that said
85 RESTART SYS
and everything was totally hung. The machines this occured on were
m66-080-1, -3, and -14. I'm sorry I can't give you any more
information than that, but then again, once it happened I couldn't
really look at anything, and it gave no warning it was coming. All my
dotfiles and such are world readable, so you are welcome to peruse
them if you think I might have something wrong there.
