I have the following :
~/.meetings --- is a link to --> /afs/athena/user/i/ilham/.meetings
It will read the .meeting file from AFS fine but when the changes are
written back, it will create the file ~/.meetings and it will not longer
be a link but a file.
It should not break the link but follow it.
