/usr/athena/gnuplot prints a message pointing the user at xmath.
/usr/bin/X/gnuplot is a version of xmath that is 1.5 years out of date,
and that does not work under X11R3. /usr/bin/X/gnuplot should be
removed from the packs for the next release.

FLAME: I have no idea how long /usr/bin/X/gnuplot has been in the
release, (probably for 1.5 years) but it pisses me off that I was never
asked whether it should be there. It also points out the inadequacy of
the way we communicate about things. I would have taken responsibility
for maintaining and testing the program if whoever was responsible for
installing it had told me that it was there. Were the contents of
/usr/bin/X really never tested to see if they would run under X11R3?
