Hi -
When you login to Debathena, there should be a terminal window that
opens in the bottom-right corner of your screen (as in
<http://debathena.mit.edu/images/debathena-screenshot>). You type the
command "chmod 775 $HOME" (without the quotes) into that window, and
press enter.
