If you sudo easy_install something, it will get cleaned up at logout just=

like when you sudo apt-get install something. You can also easy_install=20
the package into your home directory with the techniques listed at

default location for packages your home directory, as described in a=20

Also, I don't think I mentioned this earlier in the thread, but if you can=
=20
convince us that a package has good general use, and it's in Debian/Ubuntu=
=20
for the releases we support, we can add it to the debathene-extra-software=
=20
metapackage, which also gets pulled in on private workstations and other=20
Debathena installations that choose it at install time.

But given that you can install software within your cluster login session,=
=20
that's a better first choice because it scales better than having everyone=
=20
request their favorite packages.
