attach-usb uses wrong device name

On w20-575-13.mit.edu, the script "/mit/consult/attach-usb" fails because it
tries to use non-existent device /dev/sdb1 instead of /dev/sdb. Running
"mount /dev/sdb /mnt/usb" after the script fails does the right thing; all
directories on the USB drive are visible.
The need for a solution to this problem should be obviated by the release
of Athena 10. Nevertheless, I thought it worth reporting in case similar
questions arise in the interim.
