The beta boot CD WAS required for a G5 install. If you can, please pass
along the following to the Athena developers:
1. The system REALLY needs to do an 'rdate' or an NTP sync BEFORE
starting. The installer assumes the clock is right and AFS barfs on it.
I had to shell over to a prompt before the install to fix the clock on my
second attempt since it was three years off.
2. The final postinstall script fails with: /bin/sh: no job control in
this shell. It's not a biggie though since it's after the "you may reboot
me if you want, but if you want to do anything else, here you go" prompt.
Otherwise, it works fine with the beta image.
