During the creation of Debian-Athena, which in part involved recompiling
the Athena sources on Debian, we discovered a number of minor bugs in
the Athena sources. While we have patched them as necessary for the
Debian-Athena distribution, we have decided to report them so that
others don't have to track them down in the future. We would be happy
to provide additional details or patches for any of these bugs, if
necessary.
Several categories of related bugs were found across multiple packages.
We are categorizing them into separate emails for your convenience.
The following problems are inadequate or incorrect configure tests.
* attach: configure.in should check for zephyr
* console: configure.in should check for Jets
* finger: configure.in should check for zephyr
* lert: configure.in should check for krb5, and Makefile.in should add
KRB5_LIBS
* lert: dbm_open test is broken because of #define dbm_open
__db_ndbm_open
* locker: configure.in should check for zephyr
* quota: configure.in should check for zephyr
* xdsc: configure.in should check for xt, xaw
