The question of deleting oneself from a list is one of administrative
control, not of the client programs. I will forward your complaint to
the SMS people.
The listmaint program should accept an option "-nomenu", which
actually still does give you menus, but does not depend on cursor
control or fancy terminal modes. (However, as I've just discovered,
and will send to the SMS people, it is a bad idea to hit ^D to this
prompt.)
