Firefox 1.5 load time on Suns

This isn't really a bug, but I can't think of a better place to send it. 
OLC has been literally overwhelmed with users saying "firefox doesn't 
work".  As noted earlier on this list, there was a problem with the 
wrapper script detecting the lockfile, and that fix now appears to have 
gone out, since I just got our custom dialog box, nistead of firefox's.

However, elapsed time from clicking the WWW icon to getting a browser 
window on a SunBlade 100 is about 70 seconds.  That's a long time, and a 
lot of people are clicking the icon multiple times, and then (on 
quickstations) giving up and logging out.

It would be nice (though probably not worth the effort involved) if there 
was some sort of feedback to the user along the lines of "Yes, you clicked 
the button, now be patient".  Perhaps a non-modal dialog box that 
disappeared after a few seconds?

Anyway, like I said, not really a bug, but it's happening enough that 
we're seeing a lot of people with these symptoms.
