Newly installed linux machines seem to end up with an
/etc/athena/version entry with its date in the future; I'm not sure if
it's lying about the time zone, or trusting a mis-set system clock.

[cfox@myxomycete]~$ date
Thu Aug 10 20:50:50 EDT 2006

[cfox@myxomycete]~$ athinfo simmons-1 version
Athena Workstation (linux) Version 9.4.27 Thu Aug 10 21:27:23 US/Eastern 2006

[cfox@myxomycete]~$ athinfo simmons-1 uptime
 20:51:05 up 2:27, 0 users, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00
