As I responded in http://diswww.mit.edu/menelaus/suggest/4459 back in
March, we will be removing the prompting code. (However, in looking
over your bug report, I did notice that I had missed the bash dotfiles
in my change to get rid of the prompting code, so it's good that you
brought this up again.)
