It's a specialty application that computes various gas-phase chemical
kinetics and thermodynamic properties of reaction setups. It was requested
by ChemE and I suspect most if not all users are in that department.

Given its specialized nature and (presumed) limited user base, I'd think that
it would be reasonable to ask the department to support their user's 
specialized needs- unless someone else wants to volunteer :-)
