I started up firefox pointing at CNN, added a tab going to
www.websudoku.com, played one game of Sudoku, then pushed the window
into the background and didn't touch it after that. (Well, except for
the expose and change-position events from moving around in my virtual
desktop.)
Here are the sizes reported with ps after that point:
2/21 20:32 71416K
20:40 73988K
21:37 75324K
22:42 77068K
23:29 79616K
2/22 14:03 seg fault reported sometime in the last 14.5 hours
So, over the course of about 3 hours, it grew by 8M. (The CNN web
page refreshes every 30 minutes. I don't think the sudoku scoring
page does anything while idle.)
